1. Are these programs co-ed and what proportion are male and female?
All of our programs are co-ed and typically classes are composed of 25% male and 75% female members.
2. What happens during the class sessions?
Every class has a content presentation by the facilitator on the theme for the evening. During the presentation questions and comments from the participants are encouraged. Small discussion groups also take place in each session.
3. Are participants pressured to talk in the sessions or small groups and will the conversations be kept confidential?
No one will be pressured or "forced" to speak unless they wish. We have found that most people freely engage in discussions once thy feel comfortable and safe.
4. Are participants required to purchase the text and the workbook in each program?
Having a personal copy of the text and workbook (when available) is necessary to take a full and active part in class discussions and activities.
5. What kind of payment plans are available?
We accept either full payment for the program by cheque or major credit card. We can accept payment through a series of post-dated cheques paid out during the length of the program. This has proven to be very convenient for a number of our class participants.
6. Is it possible to attend one session before making a decision to join the program?
Yes, we invite people to attend an open session on the first evening of each program to hear about goals and purposes, ask questions and to speak with former graduates.
